The Great Britain Speedminton Team attended the Lipton German Masters in Stuttgart on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of August. With 4 Players competing in the tournament (Gill Dabeck, Alex Bergh, Andrew Low and Ralf Ganza) we showed great presence. Gill especially had a couple of great matches and made our team look good. Players from Sweden, Switzerland and France also came to compete with the Germans.

Daniel Gossen won the tournament in the mens section and Karin Chabrel won the title for the ladies. The weather was great on Sunday with the finals being held outside on sand. There is a lot to be learnt from the Germans as the tournament was superbly organised and the food in the evenings was to the highest standards. 

All in all it was a fantastic weekend with some excellent Speedminton games and lots of fun!!! We are now hoping to strenghten our GB Squad and are looking forward to competing in future tournaments.
